What can I do to ease severe neck fatigue?
I have a somewhat short neck. After being sick and congested for a couple of weeks, I guess I've strained it by arching it to breathe better. I've also been really stressed out mentally, and I tend to tense up parts of my body without being aware of it. I'm sure that's a big part of what's going on with my neck. Now it feels so painful, but the weakness in it is more troublesome. I feel like I can barely hold my head up. I've used analgesic creams on it, a heating pad, have even walked around holding a hot water bottle on it. Nothing helps. I plan on seeing my doc on Monday. Is there anything I can do in the meantime? This is keeping me from doing things around the house, and is consuming my thought all day.
I would recommend that you see chiropractor. This really sounds like a neck misalignment issue. The chiropractor can diagnose what is going on and also help realign your neck. This should really help you.
