I just purchased my first Active Ankle T2 protectors... are they are fitting properly?
I'm 15, tall and very thin. the ankles protectors make my ankles look massive compared to my shoes, and others I have seen with the protectors look fairly small. Should the two small plastic parts at the bottom be sticking far out to the sides? I think they should be straight, and the part at the top is about an inch away from my leg. I have the right size, but this doesn't seem to be normal.
its normal...they always look weird at the beginning..but you get used to them! =D just remember that the logo goes on the outside of your ankle and not te inside!

what size goalie pads do you think i need?
im 5'4
my legs(straight) are 32 inches from ankle to waist. im 14 yrs old.
what size goalie pads do you think would fit me best ?
and what size chest protector.

You need whatever size pads fit you the best, AND feel the best to you. You can run through all the formulas you like, but the bottom line is, until you put them on, and actually compare them to your legs, it is all just a crap shoot as to which ones will fit you properly.
A couplke of things you may want to think about...
Are you still growing? How big is your budget? If you are like most of us, and aren't farting money, you will want to consider going with a slightly bigger pad to grow into if you are young. The bad part about that, though is if you do buy bigger pads, you may have difficulty at first using them, because they are too big.
