Cell Phone Question (Interesting)?
I recently bought a NOKIA 5310 and a BlackBerry Curve from T-mobile.com They arrived today and I opened the box to reveal the 2 phones I purchased and an Extra BlackBery Curve, I now have 3 Phones, What do I do with the 3rd, and also can anyone tell me why I got an extra?
Ok, I bought it online and when I recieved the packing list it marked it as only one of each.
I recently learned that there was a promotion of "spend 500 dollars get a free Curve" I thank It's kind of cool
It also has a SIM card already
Contact customer service and return the phone, by contacting them you create verification of the extra phone .. don't know why you got the extra phone, you did not say if you ordered it online for example and in error entered the incorrect number of handsets

I recently purchased a BlackBerry curve from Verizon Wirless...?
I ordered it online, and when it arrived it had pen markings inside (behind where I would put the battery) and when I activated the phone it had a message from Verizon Wireless from July 6th, but I placed the order for the phone on September 3rd. Was I sent a used one? I called and complained and they told me to bring it back to the store so that I wouldnt be without a phone... I went to Verizon today and they gave me a new phone (I saw her take it out of the new box and everything) but the same message was in the new phone with a date from back in July also.. Is this unnormal?!
It is totally normal. The message you are seeing is from when the phone was made and sent to Verizon. I got my Curve from Verizon about 2 weeks ago and had the same message from July 4th. It is not a used phone, it is most definitely brand new. Don't worry about the message, it is normal.
