What is the name of this children's story?
I remember reading a book when I was young with a collection of short stories, and one of them was about someone hunting birds but for some reason they weren't allowed to shoot them so they cooked sleeping pills into raisins then sprinkled the raisins around. When the birds came to eat them they fell unconscious and then the person put the birds in a bag and for some reason I seem to remember a baby stroller being involved, and at the very end all the birds wake up and escape or something. Does anyone know the name of this story or the book it is in? It has been so long since I read it I don't remember much else, but there is another story in it that was very disturbing about someone getting mistaken for a pig in a slaughterhouse and being chained upside down to the assembly line thing.
