What is so bad about the brand Everlast?
I'm just looking through the boxing questions and when someone asks about everlast, ppl slam the brand. My bf and i use it for our gloves and wrist wraps. In a week or so we'll be buying a headgear for me from them (he doesnt wanna hit me in my face since im a girl). The gloves are great on our heavy bag (its TKO, bought it from a friend). Our mouth guards are TapouT. Got a deal on them and I'm looking at getting an Everlast one. We use the Advanced pro style training gloves. I even was boxing in a parking lot the other night. When i got knocked down my right arm kinda dragged the asphalt and i heard my glove scrape. Not even a scratch on it. So what is everyones problem with the brand? Just curious since the brand hasnt failed me once.
its no longer made in america..
they have outsourced the brand to other countries and they have figured out a way to manufacture their product with the cheapest of quality.. while still holding the "everlast" name.. they do have good products but not the cheap ones.. you have to spend some money to get quality from everlast..
they have a new everlast line called "pro gel" or something that is pretty decent.. all i do know for sure is that the everlast double ended bag sucks!! ive broken two of them already.. my favorite bag breaks easy cause its made cheap..
