Is this a good 18th birthday present?
It's my best friend's 18th birthday tomorrow, and I'm a little low on budget. So I thought of giving her a little grab-bag of small things. She's really obsessed with hello kitty and such. In the bag, there's: a pair of Hello Kitty earrings, a box of hello kitty bandages, a pack of hello kitty stickers, a small pack of hello kitty peach scented tissues, and a strawberry flavored hello kitty lollipop.
Then I made a little letter explaining the meanings behind it. For example, the bandages and tissues symbolized how there will be hardships, and the bandages & tissues are there to help patch things up. The stickers and lollipop reminds her of being a kid at heart and all the good times in the past.
