Odd shooting pains in my right hand?

I'm not sure what this pain could be. It's been going on for about a week now. Slowly getting worse. At first is was only my palm and wrist itching (Which in itself didn't seem very odd.) but it has "progressed" into a shooting pain that radiates from the bottom of my ring and pink finger, down (or is it up?) to my elbow along the side of my forearm. It only happens if I bend my wrist back to about where you would to wave (if that makes sense).
I realize that any ideas or advice given is not the actual problem and that I should consult a doctor but I want to have some ideas when I go in so that they can shoot them down or consider them.

Oh and at the moment, I am wrapping my hand and wrist in an ace bandage. Any other ideas to keep the pain at bay?

It could be computer pains - seriously! If you spend a lot of time on the computer and lean on that arm, it can compress the nerves that go to your pinkie. You might also be feeling a little numbness? If this sounds like your problem try placing a small cushion under your arm while your on the computer.
