Boxer Sign
My 2 year old Boxer female yelps out of no where she isn't limping and isn't listless.?
She just seems like she yelps then stops right away . Every once in a while she will yelp a few times then its over. She isn't showing any signs of injury or listlessness.
Boxers are a breed known to be quite stoic. I'd say if she's yelping, she's doing it for a reason. My instinct would be to take her to the vet to have her checked.
When one of my greys was yelping (and also for no reason that I could see and she'd also stop) she went to the vet, was x-rayed and found to have calcium deposits on her neck. She had a series of chiropractic treatments - because of the pain, she'd also compensated and thrown out her spine somewhat, and she's been totally pain free ever since.
You just never know what's going on with these guys, buy I've learned if they're yelping, there's something wrong. Especially with a breed that doesn't show signs of pain unless they mean it.

How do I completely housebreak my Boxer?
My Boxer is 5 months old and he'll go a long time with no accidents in the house then all of the sudden out of nowhere he will just stop what he's doing wherever he is and start peeing. Floor, blanket, couch... doesn't matter he pees all over it with no warning, no signs of having to go. I'm at a loss, don't know how to stop this. Please can someone who has had the same problem help? I've tried everything I can think of consistently and it hasn't solved the problem.
Yuup we had the exact same problem with our Bichon Frise. The solution....tie a bell to a door nob and make your dog ring it with it's paw before you take it out to pee. As soon as it pees outdoors give it a treat right away. If you do it correctly (and I'm sure you will) your boxer will start to ring it on it's own to let you know that it has to go outside. It might sound a little complicated but it is really easy. My dog use to have all these accidents in the house and I don't think she's had an accident since we taught her this. I hope this helps!!!
