Boxing Bag Stand speed bag question? not bouncing off the board?
ok so i just starting getting into boxing and bought a speed bag/punching bag stand and the speed bag plate/board plus speed bag came with it. the problem is that i hit the speed bag but it dosent even swing that much, i know im suppose to punch it after 3 bounces but how am i suppose to do dat when it only bounces the board twice when i hit it with my hardest. can anyone find any reasons why my speed bag isnt boucning like i see them on the internet??
just keep hitting the bag in a couple of weeks you will be able to do it

What type of punch bag is best?
I am looking for a punch bag but am unsure what size/type would be best for me. I'm only 5'2" and have never done boxing before. The rafters in my garage arent strong enough to hang a punch bag from them so I'd have to either have it on a stand or use one of these stand alone bags that you fill with sand/water. Which is best? Also what size/weight should I be using?
That is the least informative instructional video I have ever seen. You could learn just as much by watching any one of the Rocky movies. Except the fifth one. It sucked.
