Boxing Bag Stand boxing training - hanging punching bags vs. water-based standing punching bags?
hey guys (and gals), I'm looking to start some boxing training with my buddies and was wondering if anyone, preferably used both, can list me the pros and cons of the hanging punching bags and the water-based standing punching bags for boxing training.
let me start it off...I know one obvious one: the hanging punching bags would cost a lot more because it requires a stable stand to hold the impact...
I like the hanging water bag. I don't like the standing bags. Go to www.ringside.com or www.titleboxing.com and look at their variety of water bags. I don't like the ones with the foam liner, too soft. But the regular water-filled bags are great. I've had mine for 7 years. It's 120 lbs and has give to it. Feels like hitting a body!!!

Oh sure, transfer your glee…heh. It’s just with a hollow-legged teenage boy in the house, any food on sale is reason for a little glee burp. Oh so funny, I thought of you today when Kevin came at me purposefully crackling a SunChips bag…very annoying. If I hadn’t bought them on sale, the irritation would’ve been too much to bear.
