boxing beginners
tips for beginner boxing??
im pretty strong and somewht quick, and ive gotten into fights, but i want to box now, wat kind of shoes, clothes, gear, gloves, etc. do you recomend. im 16 and i weigh about 200 lbs and im 5"11. im not looking into very beginner gear. something that will last me from now til i get a little better at least.
http://www.titleboxing.com/ Be sure to find a good boxing gym. Being able to fight has little to do with a skilled boxing match. Find a gym with good people willing to train you properly. You will most likely lose a lot of mass once you start training daily. So purchase gear a tad small for you. Most good boxing gyms can supply you with used gear while you train. I don't know your age but if your under 17 you should try Golden Gloves. http://www.goldengloves.com/welcome/ They do a great job with beginners.
