What cord would I use to hook up an exterior hard drive (my old one) to my Toshiba Satellite laptop?
I had my hard drive removed but I didn't get them to do a backup from that hardrive to my new one. I figured I could do it myself with coaching. Can you tell me how to do this? What cord i need etc.?
The old hard drive is just the thin rectangular box with pins sticking out . Thanks for helping a dummy.
To use an internal hard drive via USB, you need to get a hard drive enclosure. You would need one that works with laptop (2.5") drives, and the correct interface (either IDE or SATA).

Interactive Punch-Out!!
am i doing too much? 50minutes of cardio combination, 20 minutes plank exercises and some other exercises?
50minutes include 15 minutes at the versa climber, 15 minutes at the nordik trak, 20 minutes of boxing (dummy). on the days i don't box, i do shadow jumps for 20 minutes.
then after, i do plank exercises for 20 minutes, then some exercises for the thighs and triceps but not so intensive. it takes 3 hours for me to do all these, including rest periods (which are often long), and changing of clothes, drinking water...
i do this routine everyday. no rest days. i eat carbs late at night (that's the only time i feel like eating) that's why i really get up early and start to work out.
honestly, i am sick and tired of doing this but it's the only healthy way to be guilt free from eating lots of carbs (noodles, chips, chocolates, etc).
pls. advise me
Sweetie, you are over training.
You run the risk of developing over training syndrome and becoming injured.Also, as you say, the motivation is flagging...which often ends with a person just giving up on fitness completely...we do not want that.
One hour a day is plenty. Mix up your cardio and strength in a workout, or if you prefer, alternate.
I would suggest you work at reducing those carbs, and improving the quality of the food you are consuming. Go for wholemeal carbs, like wholemeal pasta, dark breads etc and reduce the simple carbs like noodles. You may have a bit of an addiction to these, which is pretty common, your body gets quite a sugar hit from white carbs, so just reduce them gradually and replace them with better choices.
Lastly, do not be motivated by guilt.
Be motivated by a desire to take care of YOU.
