Boxing Exercises

Which is better for boxing exercise the heavy bag or the pads and which one will help you to become a better?
Just want to see what you all think
I am a boxing coach I am asking these questions to test yor boxing knolage. GPA 3.88
I'd say its the pads. This is because you can implement moving, punch accuracy, countering and combo's. All of these you can do on a punch bag but I believe with the trainer using the pads can assess a boxer better on these attributes.
Also I think the pads give you a better work out if intensified with fast foot movement and combo's. A few 3 minute rounds of this is enough to get anyone tired.

what are good ways to exercise while boxing at home?
I am trying to lose weight, and I've wanted to box for a very long time. I am going to buy a boxing bag and some gloves later on, so i can set it up at home.
What are some good ways to lose weight and build strength while boxing at home? and how long do i have to do it for? is it about an hour of throwing punches everyday?
I tried searching up ideas, I just couldn't find any.
Please help.
do everything in 3 minute rounds with 3 second breaks. You can also buy a jump rope and do some rounds of that. The heavy bag is good to train for power and technique, be sure to check out youtube to make sure your throwing your punches with good fundamentals. If you could get a speed bag and double end bag that would be great, but expensive. The heavy bag is going to be expensive, and you might be better off joining a local boxing gym. Some are pretty cheap. Shadow boxing is always good too, and dont forget to wrap your hands! Good luck

I agree with the first post. Pills never work and often cause harm to your body. You need a well rounded workout regimen and a reasonable diet. Exercise and diet will help you achieve your ideal weight and maintain it long term. If you are interested in more fitness help feel free to add me on facebook.
