Like if two boxers are fighting in a 175 lb. catch weight .Is this a title fight ? What if one fighter is over the "catch weight"? Can you be over or under that weight ?
a catch weight is when one or both fighters cant make the original weight class, but they still agree to fight. it can be a title fight, but if the title holder is the one that was over the initial weight and they win, a new title match will be scheduled. and vice versa, if the title challenger was the one over the weight and they win a rematch will be scheduled for a later date.

In the case of people who actuallly use it for training that leads up to something (yes, the hubs is an ex-bodybuilder…boxing/mma/ufc kinda-guy)…the guys…and gals, I’d assume…push each other to the next level.
