Have U been To phuket or Koh samui thailand?

Im Planning to go to thailand for 2 weeks In april 2009. I would like to see koh samui and phuket and maybe Bangkok for a short stay (but havnt heard the best reviews for bangkok so far) can anyone give me advice On these places, like the best parts to stay at. and some examples of the things like day trips or prebooked things u have experienced in these areas and if u would reccomend them. any information or advice from your own point of view would be great good or bad. I dont need Links to any sites as i have already done this.
If this helps.. Im 22 Going with a male and im Not prudeish open to pretty much anything and I like to experience the true cultures etc of a place i visit not just whats there for the tourists so Im Open to any suggestions! Im interested in intimate day cruises, canoeing, firearm shooting, sheman shows, thai boxing etc.

Before I answer.I read on the side of the right side of this window that a person can answer questions like yours from just using internet research to answer questions.That is kind of silly?To think that a person just reading info off the internet can pass it on to someone who really wants information about something important like world travel.That's not so informative.In fact it's wrong.But I digress.
OK,I live in Thailand.I am an independent film maker and have traveled this whole planet.I know this country better than probably anyone who will respond to your question.
Politely and nicely from my love of Thailand and as an American Buddhist filming and traveling the best I can give is just do more research on Thailand.That is the best thing.
Okay,Koh samui was great years ago but is now very touristy and expensive if you care about that kind of thing.The island north of it called Koh pan ngan it is the mushroom,marijuana capital of Thailand.But most islands are like that now in Thailand if that is what you like,if you don't like that kind of thing then you can still go to the islands and never see it if you don't look.
Chiang mai on the other hand.Yes!The famous tourist trap is completely over rated.I was expecting to feel like I went back in time when I went there.But as every x-pat says"What a let down.""All I saw was smog."I live in Khon kaen.Just your normal world city.Chiang mai is just the same.If you do decide go then leave the city as fast as you can after seeing the huge Wednesday night market and go to Doi Sutep temple on top of the mountain outside the city.It is beautiful and a great view.Smog depending.Also remember Thailand is not full of smog but Bangkok and Chiang are like New York or L.A.on a bad day.Okay,After that leave Chiang mai and go to Mae hong son then to Phi north west of there.It's a bohemian wonderland.
Chiang mai has all of the ladyboy shows you want and so does everywhere else in Thailand if that is what you like.Funny,if you are gay you have an interesting sense of entertainment.Ladyboys and fighting.But each to his own.I just work here.
Kanchanaburi has great white water rafting and the WW2 bridge over the river kwai historical site.Ayuthaya is Thailand's version of Angkor wat in Cambodia.You can get there cheap from Bangkok in a couple of hours.For $5.00 you can take a boat trip around the whole river island,touring all of the great temples.
After that you can travel to Khao Yai nation park from there by train for next to nothing to see the waterfall that Leonardo DiCaprio and his friends jumped off of in the movie 'The Beach".Yes,that part is no where near an island.Welcome to Hollywood but it is much more than a waterfall.It is full of wildlife.Just watch out for the wild elephants.If you go you have to rent a moterbike now in Pak Chong.They stopped renting them at the park because they want you to pay for a tour.So be a real traveler an find a bike.Just walk around and ask at the motorbike shops and never pay more than 200 baht.I did it 2 times.
Anyway,the tours are good and if you pick one use Green leaf tours.You can find them by looking around at the beginning of the park on the right hand side of the road.You will see it.If you don't see it just ask some where.The guide is great and remembered me after 2 years when I came back with my Thai wife.You will tour old Buddhist caves,swim in ice cold natural springs(when it's hot as hell and you are so happy to be in It)watch a billion bats fly out of a cave right above your head,see tigers,elephants,crazy huge bugs and birds,weird barking deer,and a bunch of types of monkeys plus a whole bunch more wildlife.I only say this to a future traveler to Thailand because I learned all of this from listening to other people sitting around in guest houses who did it before me.I was on my way north to Chiang mai when a girl begged me to please go to Khao national park and not to miss it.I can barely remember her face and have no idea of her name but I am passing on the information.There is a reason they made part of the movie in that park.Green leaf is also the same tour that Leonardo DiCaprio went on while filming in Khao Yai.The tour costs about $25 for a day and a half trek.Rooms at their place $5 to $10 bucks.Much more expensive places around and very nice but a weak trek.You can do both though.Stay at one place a trek with green leaf.
Now as far as islands go.For me after traveling to almost every island in the country.Koh Chang is the best.I lived in Phuket and I hated it.Bargirls....which I liked for a time...sorry but this is Thailand and they are in every city in the country anyway.EVERY CITY!It was just too touristy until you leave the infamous Pat Pong.Then it's very pretty.Koh Phi Phi is much better.So is Khrabi and Koh Lanta they are great but all are expensive and full of Euro and U.S. rude people who embarrass real travelers.For islands Koh Chang is my pick.It lies of th

i bought them at a hypermart. The brand is FBT, a Thailand based company who manufactures sports wear n thai-boxing gear.

i m gonna wear them at home n probably when i go out for a run around my neighbourhood or gym workout. I think they're cute n sexy!
