Boxing Sparr Gloves
This guy is soo fast and strong I cant never beat him in Sparring/fights. He is a Street Fighter. Any Advice?
ok this guy is 6'2 164 pounds. I am 5'8 220 pounds. Im pretty musclular and athletic. He is 17 and I am 15. He is a street fighter. He doesnt do boxing or take any MA classes. I been learning some boxing and jutjitsu. He thinks Jutjitsu and other Martial Arts dont work. Well anyways We always sparr in his backyard. Every time we sparr I always try to take him down and he always gets away. He knows i can beat him on the ground. Sometimes i pretend he hit me and i just lay on my back so he comes for me. But we always ending up standing up.
Everytime he throws a punch he his way too quick. He does this fake punch then i block-flinch it then he does a real one and hits me. Then when we are close up he just starts throwing wild punches and i cant do anything but try to block. His punches hurts even with gloves on.
One time when we sparred, he got me with a right-cross and ending up breaking my nose then we just stopped.
Sometimes people are just better than you.
Just because your martial arts don't work against him, it doesnt mean that some other martial artist can't beat him.
He's also older and more experienced, which makes a bigger difference than you think.
My advice is to ask your Ju-jitsu and boxing instructor for their advice and follow it.

whats the diffrence ?
ok ive been in muay thai for about 6 months now..we sparr once a week sumtimes twice for the last 2 months...but me n my sparring partner are gonna swith from regular 12 oz or 14 oz boxing gloes to mma gloves?? does it make alot of diffrence??does it hurt more or wat
Be sure to get MMA SAFETY TRAINING GLOVES. If it is full contact sparring, then don't use regular MMA gloves. Training gloves have more padding, and the same feel as regular MMA gloves.
