Dang Renfei(Jelly) VS. Lambis (ameuter kick boxing sparr training)

I need help with boxing?

Im boxing mad i love the sport and spend any time i can spare training.
i have a heavy bag in my garage, i sparr with my friends in pe at shcool i do loads of pushups and sit ups.

but i have a problem and unless you can help me it could stop me from being any good. I flinch too much someone pulls a punch ive praticed dodging and blocking but when it come to it i automaticly flinch.

Is it possible to teach myself not to if so how or am i stuck with this forever

Yes its possible to learn or teach yourself not to flinch. You got to remember when your sparring in the ring or any where your bodies natural reactions are going to take over. It takes a bit of time and training. I do a bit of boxing and I still flinch a lot, but not as bad as I used to. my biggest problem is getting motivate to lose all the weight I want to lose.

What helps me sometimes is getting in the ring as if I'm mad and or like I got something to prove. but that's me.

Just stay focused and motivated when you practice and train. Before you know it you won't flinch anymore.
