Boxing Training Routine

Lifting and Boxing?
Hey everyone. I just recently bought a new Heavy Bag and Speed bag for boxing, as well as a new treadmill.
I am really wanting to get into boxing cause I think it will be exciting and I am very into health and I feel it will help me in those regards as well in terms of keeping me in shape.
I am also trying to pack on some muscle mass currently as well, I was wondering if anyone could help me put together a routine thats includes boxing and weight training so I can pack on muscle mass well boxing. I eat mostly all healthy foods, lots of protein and carbs. And only eat bad once a week so my diet is already in check. Just need to balance the boxing and weight training to get the best of both.
Thanks in Advanced.
I suggest that you find out what days you are going to the boxing gym. i say this because if you lift early in the morning then go to the gym your arm tends to be fatigued. i am a amature fighter and what i do is i run 6 days a week, lift every other day, and do lots of resistance training at the gym. i think you should workout the correct parts of your body that wont slow you down, every other day your not boxing.
most boxers dont lift much with their upperbody but more with their lower body, due to the fact that all power comes from your legs. i suggest on the days you go to the boxing gym get a pair of 5 lbs. dumbells and throw punches with them, also use a resistance band to throw punches.
i hope this helps.

How to Train for Boxing : Sit Up Techniques for Boxing Training
I lift weights by following a strict weight routine but?
but i want to go back to boxing training, i already doa bit of swimming in between my weight training days, will doing boxing training 2 days a week make me stop getting bigger or will i lose muscle?
Boxing training develops lean muscle mass and burns off fat, and by continuing weight training you will not lose any muscle that you have from the weights. You will become leaner and more toned.

I don't know why everyone thinks Bruce Lee is so good he isn't that great. He just did things that people weren't used to seeing now these days heaps of people can do them and fighting fans aren't that amazed by it. Bruce Lee trained in Kung Fu and things like that and Kung Fu, Karate and all of them were proven not effective once it was put against things you see in MMA like Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, BJJ and Wrestling. On Inside MMA Bas Rutten (MMA Legend) said I think Bruce Lee would not do well in UFC, but since he is naturally a very quick learner he could get training and become a good MMA fighter. This is coming from Bas Rutten a MMA legend. I know Dwanye Johnson isn't a MMA fighter but he has some really good wrestling and is very fast for a big guy. I don't think Bruce Lee's flashy movie maker moves will beat someone who could slam him on his back and pound his face in. Wrestler in my opioion would smash any Kung Fu guy.
