Does anyone think that MMA should have it's own section under 'Sports' on Y!A?

It would seem that Boxing and Wrestling (essentially martial arts) have their own section under 'Sports'. With MMA's recent popularity, and the inundation of questions such as, "Who won the UFC fight on Friday" or "Who would beat who" etc, It has occurred to me that MMA could be recommended for it's own section?

One reason I could think that would cause disagreement is because of MMA's obvious title. In that case, what defines a martial art (bearing in mind the Boxing/Wrestling argument)? Are there any other reasons for why this should, or shouldn't happen?

I think that MMA should be a separate section. The issues and questions faced by practitioners of MMA can be very different than those of traditional Martial Artists. While it's true that traditional and sport martial arts are very different, they are essentially different species of the same animal. MMA is a different animal entirely, and should live in it's own environment.

My strongest argument is that fans of MMA are likely to have little understanding and appreciation of the spirit of Budo, and Traditional Martial Artists tend to compare MMA against their own art, not realizing that MMA is specifically an athletic contest and sporting event-not a path to personal growth and development like Budo.

Which punching bag should i chose?

I am a 15 year old kid and ive been lifting weights for a while and would like to get a punching bag i just want to know which one i should get i weigh 165 lbs and ive been lifting weights for about a year now from freshman football and training for lacrosse and now i dont do football anymore and hate running and heard that a punching bag is a good cardio workout and i would like to improve my striking power in case in the future i decide to box or train for mma Should i get a 40 60 70 or probably not or a 100 lb bag thanks
And what oz glove should i use i like the mma striking gloves but i hear those can be bad for your knuckles on a heavy bag
i was looking at the everlast ones but i really want to know what weight i should get

Simple answer , heavier is better . Closer to real situation .
