can i take him outside with boxing gloves?

my 14 year old nephew is extremely violent and i notice that it has only gotten worse since the family defends him, which they do to keep him out of the system. when he lived with me for 3 years, i had no problems, when visiting my house i have no problems but he is violent with his mother, my sister, my mother, his grandmother and his other brothers, 3 of them and all younger. he pulls knives on them, he set cars on fire if he doesn't like you, bust windows, steals from anybody and has even hit a girl so hard, he knocked a tooth out. he took karate classes when he was young and was kicked out for accessive force and because he would use it at school and spit on people as a finishing move. my entire family says he is afraid of me and they think i should take him and i love that boy but he can only stay with me if i can whip his A legally because i wont take that crap in my house around my child. she is very well behaved and well mannered and he can be too with the right regiment!

I agree that he needs some serious counceling. It sounds like he may have some pretty deep issues going on here. Taking him in might be okay for a while, but eventually he may start treating you like the everyone else or worse, taking it out on your daughter in ways you may not even recognize or notice. He obviously respects you though, so definitly be there for him and support him. You wouldn't want him to think the one person he respects dumpted him too. Good luck!

   Based on the evidence, this would be better aimed at high school football than boxing. And boxing can't lead to disease or pregnancy.
