Heavy Winter Work Coat Has Plumbing Glue Stains?
I have a Carhardt Jacket, that is pretty nice. It has a few noticeable stains that been in the coat for 3 years now. It is glue. Is it possible to remove these without further stainage? I heard Goo Gone is cool, but wont that stuff itself put a stain in the jacket? Its the heavy canvas material..

Not knowing the composition of the plumbing adhesive limits the suggestions that can be made. However, Goo Gone can be washed out with good old fashioned laundry detergent and spot treatment, especially with Krud Kutter. Make sure you air dry the coat to make sure the Goo Gone has washed out.

What is that yellow tubing called that is used in construction?
Anyone know what that heavy yellow tubing is called that is used in construction? It's usually 2' to 3' foot in diameter, looks like it has a metal coil winding through it to prevent it from collapsing. I've seen it used for guiding trash off of tall buildings into a dumpster, as well as for man-hole ventilation. I need the proper name for it as I'm trying to find some to buy. My guess is that it's made with a vinyl coated canvas
