Everlast HeavyBag Speed
Problems with my everlast heavybag?
I recently bought a teddy atlas workout system (100 lbs bag) Probelm is that I have it set up on a TKO heavy bag, speed bag stand, they seem to hook up fine the main problem is that the front of the bag, with the numbers on it won't stay in front when ever I really get into hitting it it always moves or swings sideways, is there anyone who owns one who has had this same problem, and fixed it, or has had a heavybag, that they were able to keep it stable, note they did send me one bungee cord to attach to the bottom but it doesn't seem to really, help, thanks in advance, for your replys
The reason it is swinging is because you are pushing out your punches, rather than snapping out your punches. When you see a good boxer hit a bag, it doesn't move much. As you gain more experience you will notice this. Concentrate more on delivery than trying to destroy the bag. Look at hitting the bag quickly and returning your hands to a defensive position just as quickly, this should ensure the bag stays in position more. you can also buy an instruction DVD on hitting the heavy bag, probably from www.titleboxing.com or www.everlastboxing.com
