Everlast Large Punching
I'm thinking of getting myself a punching bag..but I have no idea where to put it?
I live in a townhouse, so I don't have a garage. Unless I move my bed, I don't think I would be able to fit it. There is no other spare room in the house. (There is a spare room; it's just a nice guest room)

I do have a backyard. I wouldn't call it large, but I wouldn't call it small either. I have a basketball hoop that I haven't used in years. And there are no trees in the backyard.

Hmmmm.... good question.
One option might be a "wavemaster" or similar standing-style bag. It is popular because you can roll it around to where ever you may want to use it, and then roll it back into a corner. You can but them at most department stores, and any boxing or martial arts supply.
The problem with a permanent heavy bag in the backyard is that when the weather is bad, you might not want to use it. Also, a bag permanently installed inside is a pain if you need to clean around the area, or want to move it somewhere.
They usually use water or sand in the base of a free standing bag to give it stability, and this can be removed if you ever decide to move to a new place.
A great inside bag for limited space is the double-end bag. It is great for reflexes, but not as good to develop power. But it would be my first choice, as it mimics someone hitting back. I have included a great video on this.....
