Be mother nature! That costume is soo cute, and it's really original. I've never seen anyone be mother nature before! (Plus if it's cold out you can wear tights or leggings with that one and pull it off better.)

   OK first off brand names are everything. The only good everlast gloves are the 100 plus ones trust me i have talked to alot of people who have bought boxing gloves cause i started boxing last year for a while and also was researching gloves and other equipment. Second I recommend finding a gym and getting trainer cause if you just do heavy bag by yourself your gonna learn wrong then when you get to a trainer everything will be even harder. 3rd make sure you start running and doing pushups and situps build your body up.
   Finally ill answer the questions about gloves. If you do not plan on competing soon then do not worry about getting competition gloves. I recommend 16oz gloves cause with your weight they will make your hands nice and fast when you get into competition, plus you will have to work harder since they are heavier. I have a pair of 16 oz gloves and trust me unless your used to something smaller like 12oz you wont even notice that they are bigger. Alot of boxers train with heavier gloves. Make sure you also dont go over 16 cause any heavier is really unpractical. Bag gloves are not really needed if your taught the correct way to hit the bag or you know the correct way. The reason bag gloves are so light is so you have more feel on the bag so you learn not to hit wrong. Back to the everlast thing there are other good glove brands out there i dont understand the fixation on everlast except they are a big name. Also i doubt you want to spend 100+ on your first pair of gloves cause the cheaper everlast last about 3 months. What makes you think everlast has the best protection? As long as you have 180in hand wraps i recommend mexican style cause they have a slight stretch and you wrap your hands properly your hands are gonnna be protected. If you do decide to go with another brand of gloves i recommend Rival, Promex if you want long and slender gloves like reyes but cheaper, or even title gloves cause trust me everlast is just a name a nice pair of 60 title gloves will give you the same amount of protection as expensive everlast ones and last just as long.

   ok i would suggest you buy 2 pairs of gloves… one for hittin the heavy bag ..and the other for hit Foolz…lol… the heavy bag gloves that i bought were from sportsmart and were 10 bucks they look similar to this … these gloves can not double as boxing gloves cuz you will impose some serious damage…

   do not box with 16 oz. its just to much padding and you'll mess ur wrist up.. i would buy 14 oz. sparring gloves … similar to the 2nd link you posted…. the reason i bought 2 is because im pretty heavy im usually 200 lbs.. but my fight weight is 178 so i do a lot of heavy bag and sparring …. if you use ur 14 oz sparring gloves on the heavy bag your just gonna mess ur gloves up …..even at 230 lbs. u will still have to use 12oz… good luck with boxing and remeber to keep ur chin tucked
