right well i got a referal to the orthodontist and he took all the xrays and stuff and sayz that yes i do need braces. there is alot of controversey about braces about them changeing the shape of your face and about them going back to their origional places a few years after the braces have been taken off or even that they loosen your teeth and make them fall out. i have a strong lower jaw and weak upper jaw so most of the problems i have with crowding and crookedness are caused by my bone structure. if i did get braces i would need them for 3 years and possibly head gear afterwards BUT my teeth arent that bad
my family does not have much money and braces cost alot so i have to be absalutely sure that getting braces is worth it

I think braces are very important. When you have straight teeth you tend to smile more and show more confidence. Confidence will take you far in life, both in your career as well as romance. It is best to do it early. If you wait until you are an adult your teeth will be more set in their position and can be stubborn in moving. If you are good about wearing your retainer then they will likely not move back after you get the braces off. I have never heard of teeth falling out from braces. I wore braces in high school, put them on all three of my kids as well as my husband. We do not have a lot of money either but I felt it was well worth the investment.

go to ANY halloween shop right now, you can get the ears, bunny tail and little accessories in a pack for cheap! I went as a bunny for halloween last yr (on a MAJOR budget) and the pack was only $9.95. Get some blk creme eyeshadow for the freckles on your face or some white/pink for a dot on your nose & get a cute dress or something. If you wait til the day of they'll be on clearance!
