Fiery Martial Arts
Fiery Martial Arts
What's a good name for this girl?

Okay she has long dark brown hair with a reddish tint to it. She has an olive skin tone and deep green eyes with long thick dark eyelashes that give her the permanent look of wearing mascara. She's thin and strong. She likes sports like martial arts, archery and fencing. She also dabbles in a little dancing.

She's not much of a school student because she's always writing something. She likes drama and is good at languages. In fact she likes the art like painting, drama and music. She plays the violin, piano and guitar and she sings too and writes songs. She's a sightly above average student and has a fiery, headstrong side to her.

So what would be a good name for this girl?
I was thinking

Some language questions?

I'm a sixteen-year old sophomore. I love languages. Taking German II at my school and rocking Japanese on the side. More recently, I have begun learning Japanese hiragana, and afterwards, plan ta learn katakana and some practical kanji.

Most assuredly I plan to further German and Japanese before I begin new languages, but I have a fiery passion for linguistics.

Here are languages I already plan to learn:
- Russian
- Chinese (Mandarin)
- Spanish

Here are things that would make learning further languages favorable:
- Aesthetic intellectualism
- Melée martial art styles
- International languages

I am, at the moment, a tri-linguist with sprinklings of Russian and Spanish in there. I plan on taking Spanish both upperclassmen years next.

So now, to my questions. What tips can you give me on the languages I am learning, the ones I want to learn, and what other languages do you think would be for me?

I'm a sophomore too!
But I think it'd be hard learning two languages at once. (I tried French when I was learning Japanese, but I couldn't get into it!)
I've been taking Japanese for a few years now and I can tell you that many of the kanji are the same for Chinese. (same meaning but different pronunciation and sentence structure)
So that'll help you.
I know all the hiragana/katakana and about 300 kanji. (not that much, but you can write just fine without it and most kanji have furigana anyway)
and if you need any help with Japanese, you can contact/message me. (I like teaching) I tried learning it myself with books and Internet before highschool and it's really hard because the books don't teach you the proper form first.
If you can, consider taking a class for it.

Sorry that it's not much of a hint but I've never taken any other languages, so I can't think of anything else! ^^;

がんばって <--- if you can read that, it says good luck!
