Do Pro Boxers Use a New Pair of Gloves for each Fight?
For professional boxing fights, are there rules that state that a boxer must use a new pair of gloves for the fight that are not yet broken in? A follow up question is whether or not a fighter can use the same pair of gloves for several matches or are pro fight gloves for all intents and purposes one time use?
all of the state athletic commissions mandate that new gloves be worn for each fight. the gloves get inspected before and after the fight. when the commission is finished with them (after the fight) and there is no evidence of tampering, the gloves are given back to the promoter or the fighter.

back to the question..your right... pacquiao- mayweather is the mega fight .. biggest fight to be made. with all the drama and how pacquiao came up to weight kicking @ss in between, becomming pound 4 pound champ sitting on the throne that used to be fl0yds.. how fly0d came outa retirement and wanting to take back what pacquiao got.. very exciting! but every generation has its mega fight.. i just hope this one can happen!
and as far as the american heavyweights? who cares.. im fine watching these lighter guys bang and go to war... at least they dont clinch half of the time...

The feel of Grant gloves isn't the same as say Winning's, they are good gloves but not worth the price tag of there pro line of equipment. Winning's however are, a set of Winning equipment is about $700 if you get the head gear with the bar on it. They are worth every penny, this is a question best suited for pro fighters who know boxing.
I just think Grant is over rated because they have a lot of big named fighters under sponsorship contract. Look at most fighters who wear Grant's, they also wear Grant shorts & jackets. Thats it, Reyes is a punchers glove but so is Everlast. I think for a fight glove Everlast makes the best overall glove. It gives you protection yet still punching power isn't effected. Ask the pro's who actually fight, but for training you cannot beat Winnings.
