What is the best environment for bacteria to growth in a petri dish???Need Help Fast!?
i am trying to grow bacteria in a petri dish on agar gel which i made using agar. I wanted to know what is the best tempreature/ environment for the bacteria to grow in the petri dish???
Fridge which is cold?
Freezer which is freezing?
Warm???
Something else! need help if any links that say will help too thank you need help fast! need to finish science fair!
i am growing mouth bacteria....
It depends on what kind of bacteria you're trying to grow. There is a growth temperature associated with each type of bacteria.

How is it hard?

I boil 4 cups cranberries in 2 cups water. Put through food mill(reserving all the liquid). Return to pan and add 2 cups sugar. Heat to boiling. Simmer, mixing, until it thickens and turns to gel on a cold dish. My mom's recipe. We used to make it when we were kids.
Aren't the berries, in water, the best holiday color? Silly, I know, but I look forward to seeing it. I use tons of cranberries, year round.
