Glove Wraps Large
Should gloves be adjusted in MMA based on sizes of hands?
All MMA gloves are 4 ounces. If you see someone like Lesner wear gloves, it like someone wrapped his hands in black tape. When you see BJ Penn wear golves they look like the cushion extends atleast on inch. Since all gloves are the same weight, does having a larger hand mean that you have less padding in certain areas? That seems unfair and may be why KOs tend to be easier as weight classes go up. Should they use heavier gloves or make lower classes smaller?
I think that makes sense. Weight distributed over a larger surface area is going to be thinner. When ever you see a big heavyweight with the gloves on they look so much less padded than when a lightweight has them. Also, you assume that the punching power is propotunate so maybe thats why there are so fewer KOs in lower weight divisions

I'm in Indiana and all I can find is large at Dick's Sporting Goods. They are pink & black open fingered sparring gloves? Everlast only makes them in small and large, so I guess I need a small. Any ideas?
I looked at Everlast.com with no luck. They do exist, I tried on a Large pair last night.
