Please!! Help me train my dwarf hamsters! They bite me really hard! Help!?
Two dwarf hamsters I have had for 3 months, named Libbie, and Doughboy. Every day, I go to their cage, and let them sniff me, then they bite me, and it really hurts!!!!!! I keep doing that, but it doesn't work. I do wash my hands before I approach their cage, I have used a glove, and mittens,

Hi i have had dwarf hamsters before (4 of them) and i wouldn't really get them again because they are very shy and the least friendliest of all the hamster breeds. Try taking them out of their cage with a cup or bowl and then place them on your bed and let them walk about as they please do this every day and then one day approach them very slowy and very gently stroke their back also try putting some treats on your hand and let them sit on your hand and eat the food stay very still and don't startle them. If you are getting another hamster then buy a syrian dwarfs are nice but you need to do alot of research on them. Most people buy dwarfs because they are really small but they are the hardest hamster to train.

I think the speaker just witnessed death happening to somebody he or she knew infront of his eyes..

My advice: get her trained. Go to a Petsmart or other facility that gives lessons in obedience.
