Which MMA gloves are better? UFC or Everlast?

I'm trying to start training for MMA, but obviously I need some gloves. I went to my local sporting goods stores and found some pretty good gloves, but don't know which is better. UFC or Everlast? Which is better and why?
I found Everlast gloves for 40 bucks and UFC for 30. The everlast ones had more padding. both were standard open palm training gloves.

Everlast's MMA gloves are cheaper, and designed mainly for bag work. if you're going to spar check out some of the heavier padded ones in "Combat Sports" catalogue by ringside

and for the record mma is the sport UFC is the organization. You wouldn't say you were having an IBF fight, you'd say you were boxing.
