Mixed Martial Arts Grappling Gloves?

I have an upcoming tournament. As you could assume, i need some gloves. Of all the Research i've done, i have narrowed the results down to this

Everlast premium leather grappling gloves

Now don't answer on which pair to buy if you don't own them.

If you do own them, what size do you have (S/M, L/XL) and what is the distance (in inches) from your index knuckle to your pinky knuckle measured straight across.

If you happen to know of a better pair at less than 100 bucks, let me know. I appreciate the help.

If you're going to a tournament, don't you think that they would supply your gloves? I mean, that's usually how it works at tournaments... But assuming that you were to bring your own gloves, are they supposed to be 4 oz or 6 oz? You should probably figure out which, since the premium grappling gloves are 6 and the pro comp gloves are 4.

As for better gloves for under 100, there are PLENTY. Everlast is alright starter equipment, but if you've got the money, you could do a lot better. In fact, you could do better even for less money...

MMA gel shock grappling gloves?

I was just wondering whether my gloves should be real tight against my hands or whether they should be a comfortable (but not loose) fit. I am starting mma classes soon so any advice would be appreciated.

They should be a comfortable but not loose fit.
