What is the best night guard you've used for bruxism?
I grind my teeth at night. I've been using the boil and bite night guards, and once I even made the mistake of paying my dentist $300 to make me a custom guard that lasted less than a month before I'd chewed through it so badly it couldn't be worn. The $20 boil and bite ones even seem to last longer, but not more than about two or three months. Is there a better night guard, or even a way to stop grinding altogether without having to wear one?
Ok, this is going to sound crazy, but it's a solution that I JUST figured out.
I have suffered tremendously with TMJ for over 2 decades, and it has seriously affected my quality of life, as I am sure you can imagine.
Last week, I started putting toilet paper in both sides of my nose before I go to bed. I make sure that I can pull it out in the morning, but I put enough in so that I can't breathe through my nose.
This way, when I go to bed, my body is forced to take air through my mouth. My jaws CAN NOT close at night when I'm sleeping, so I can't possibly grind my teeth or clench down hard. My pain and suffering is almost gone. I can't believe I didn't think of this years ago.
The other night, I forgot to put the tissue in my nose, and the pain and headaches came right back because I spent the night breathing through my nose and clenching/grinding my jaws.

Herbs or something to help me stop grinding my teeth in my sleep?
Any suggestions? I'm being fitted for a night guard for my mouth soon, but would rather be able to do it with herbs or something. Anyone have any suggestions?
I've tried everything to try not to use my bite-splint. Things that helped a little are cutting caffeine out of your diet, or doing something really relaxing right before bed. Nothing helped totally except the splint, so all I can say is get ready to DROOL more in your sleep than you ever have in your life! haha

No offense but she seems like a bitch. From what you described it seems like she's just messing with your head. It's a little immature when she said 'see you never'. I know you may care about her but gotta consider that she may not really care for you the way you do for her. Talk to her in person about how you feel, let her know that you really do like/love her and that you wanna be with her. But if she can't even be straight forward with you then it's not worth it. Games are cute when your flirting around but when peoples' feelings and emotions are on the line they're just cruel and stupid.
Hope things work out for you. You seem like a nice guy that doesn't deserve to be going through this.
