Gym Boxing where can i find a boxing training gym in houston?
i like boxing alot im 14 and i would really like to be trained and fight vs other ppl in a boxing ring but i cant seem to find a boxing gym... can some1 help me plz? by the way i live in houston tx
Try calling Reverend Ray Martin's folks at the PABA, Progressive Amateur Boxing Assoc. It's pretty well known in Houston. I know...I once boxed there as a kid long before ever having any idea that it would become my passion. I had a successful, rather brief pro career (22 fights) and I am currently a trainer. Don't get any ideas, though. I train the big boys--but once a month I visit the P.A.B.A. and spend a couple of hours there helping young fighters out. Some really good fighters have gotten there start right there. It's close to downtown and basically just outside of Mid-Town. Maybe we'll cross paths there.

workign out in a bad air enviroment can ruin your lungs in the long run.
