Knocked out friend, started to shake.. what does that mean?
So me and a friend decided to have a boxing match without headgear our anything... I got a good shot to his temple which knocked him out cold and when he hit the ground he started to shake a little bit.. what does that mean??
it means you knocked him out and was probably coming round. if he's okay now, he's probably okay then. But his brain will be a bit bruised so he should not spar for a while, and should get a check up.
People have all sorts of reactions when they go out.If you really want to do this why not do it at a boxing club where at least they have insurance and less chance going to jail if someone messes up.

clothing in amateur boxing bouts in the uk?
if you are doing an amateur boxing match do you get supplied with the gloves shorts headgear ect? or do you have to buy it yourself also in the weight in do they take your heart rate ect?

in a match you should have your club shorts and vest off your Club a few weeks/days before your first fight after that you keep it and it is up to you to bring it, but people buy their own shorts. Gloves are also supplied there 10oz. Headgear again most clubs bring their own and you can buy your own competition one just make sure it has the approved sticker on the back.
Gum shield, boots and wraps are all for you to supply if you are having matches you should already have all these.
They do not take your heart rate, they usually check your breathing, check gum shield fits, and every now and then they take your blood pressure ( not many doctors do this part though.)
