How many calories should a muay thai kick boxer take in daily???
im 6`5 205 lbs, i have very strong abs, but unfortunatly ive been eating like crazy so i got some extra stuff on my stomach and luv handles. i work out for 3 hours a night int he gym, this consists of my thai training -
heavy bag
shadow boxing
kicking
sparing
stretching
i do this for 3 hours every night. i usually do each one untill i loose my breath, catch it and do it again, so its a pretty good work out. im wondering how to get my Body Fat % down to 5 percent or less... ive played sports all my life and ive never had a toned stomach, even though i work it out all the time.
Why not consult a personal trainer? You should probably consume about 2500 calories a day, but in the proper mix.
Are you really sure you are at <5% body fat? I asked a personal trainer about it once, and he commented even the best athletes in the world (such as Michael Jordan in his prime) were about 8% body fat.

How to strengthen my shins? Kicking Bag?
Me and my buds like to do MMA, and through a few months of study, I've learned (and my friends told me) that my two specialties are Judo and Kick-Boxing. How can I strengthen my shins (or deaden the nerves) to lessen the pain my shins feel when I kick? People say to kick a heavy bag, but i don't want to go out and buy a punching back. Is there a sort of makeshift kicking bag i can make at home?
sack of potatoes? if you want something that'll give a little, prop your mattress up against the wall, and go to town(try to put it on like a corner so it sticks out and you can kick the corner of the mattress)
but if you wanna deaden the nerves, which i wouldn't recommend, then i'd go with the potatoes

Stop lifting the heavy boxes. When I bend over or do a lot of stuff (I have a 3 year old about 35 lbs) it makes it hard on me too.
Ask the OB for a weight limit because it is getting harder to do it and explain that you don't want to go into preterm labor. I am at 30 weeks and it has scared me too…especially since this is my 3rd.
