Why/How is the PS2 still a hot item?
I notice there are a lot of people who are still playing their PS2 but how/why is it still selling?
I think PS2 and Playstation in general are smart because they have people, who cannot afford to buy a PS3, still buying PS2 games...but there are other reasons than that that i dont know about...
Basically, what you just said. It's way more cheaper and games are still being produced for it. Not many, but enough to satisfy. There are also a TON of games out there for it. God of War 1 and 2, the Final Fantasy Series, ect.

Wiis are still far hotter than PS3s, partially because Nintendo didn't make enough of them and shortages will continue throughout the season. PS3s should be more popular than they were last year thanks to a big price drop.
Additionally, Transformers are flying off the shelves. I was speaking to a Toys R Us worker yesterday, and he mentioned there were already complaints that the most popular characters weren't available in-store or online.
For girls, it'll be anything Hannah Montana.

Sorry if it came off as harsh, I certainly agree with you and it was just a generalized rant
Gearscore has become the hot item now that we are reaching the end of the expansion. I pray that once the new expansion is out, we will see less of it being spammed in trade… however I suppose it will eventually come back around full circle.
Greedy Goblin is showing by far that gearscore doesn't mean jack. I sometimes have a little different view on how he approaches things, but he is proving that you don't have to be an T10 Heroic geared individual to push your way through content.
