Light Green Color

I am updating my kitchen. The floor and walls are light green. What color should my granite countertops be?

I am also updating my kitchen appliances. Any suggestions for appliance colors? Thanks.

One of the kitchen tricks I have learned is the counter tops and floors should be a similar color. However, if your walls and floors are both green, I would ditch that idea and do your counter tops a neutral. White is always beautiful and fresh, however it shows more dirt. Tan or sand colored granite would be nice and give your kitchen a muted effect. It also shows enough subtleties within the flecks that it hides marks better. Browns would fall into that category as well.

If you choose black, it will begin to take on a retro feel, so if you are into that style, go for that.

As far as appliances, if you choose a lighter granite (the white or tan) I would choose a very light stainless steel finish. If you pick brown, go with a standard stainless steel, and if you go with black, get black appliances.

   Pick neutral tones of eyeshadow; such as, browns and deep greens. Purples, pinks and rose colors are also a good choice for ur eyes. Try to steer clear of colors that are too vibrant, that may clash with your color. Stay natural.

   # Use the lightest shade beneath your brow bone to accent the eyes. Brush the next darkest color across your eyelid and highlight it with the darkest color in the crease of the eye.

   # Any color eyes look good with a smoky, charcoal eye shadow and dark liner.

   # Frosted lipsticks have the ability to make hazel eyes really sparkle. Shade doesn't matter, but the frostier the better.

   Randy, when I looked over my previous comment on this page as it was “awaiting moderation,” I suddenly thought: What would be the big problem with a dark green AND light green color scheme for a page like this? Or both colors along with some white? This stupid page has got more black in it, much less gray, than green. In fact, it has hardly ANY green in it! Are the team colors green and white or what? Did nobody suggest using different SHADES of green? Did nobody remember that it’s the most relaxing color to the eye? Anyway, next time you consult the Kremlin circa 1955 on colors, please consult us fans first.
