What is an awesome bike these days?
Giant, KHS, Trek, Globe.
All sound like wonderful brands. Trek makes at least one bike in the USA. Which one would you recommend?
Can I find any quality bike made in Canada, the States, or Europe or Japan? Why does it HAVE to come from Taiwan? The Chinese already make enough money off of us. Why not give other countries a chance for fair trade.
Aren't there any bikes that I can get from Germany, Holland, or some other place in Western Europe? I'm looking for a road bike that is durable, light weight and competitively priced.
Also how do I get bicycle insurance? Who offers it?
There are two words that are not compatible.. european bikes and competitively priced. THe point of making bikes in Taiwan is basically lower costs more sales and more revenue. I happen to have an Specialized Tarmac SL made in taiwan and is one, if no the best bike that ive owned (previously C-40 Coast Issue, CT-2, Trek 5900). I used to have a Colnagos and right know im still wondering how in the hell i paid that amoutn of money for a bike. Trek basically manufactures bikes in the US based on Pride... however that doesnt make them any better than other brands. On the other side try go get a BMC, Colnago, Look, Guerciotti, Daccorrdi.. with the price of an european frames you can get a full Trek, Giant or Specialized bike. But if you have the cash and want to roll in style go ahead.

Best item to import from Asia to resell to gift shops in USA?
Hello (please read entire question as it has details important to the answer) Thank you in advance 
I am looking for the best/most popular item to import from China/Asia to resell to stores here in the USA. Currently I import Sterling Silver jewelry and it does well. However I am looking at expanding my offerings and am looking for another somewhat small, lightweight item with high value that I can import from Asia. (obviously thats not jewelry like I have now). Currently I sell to gift shops and that is my main market. So when I approach these gift shops I or my sales person can show them something other then jewelry to help give me selling options. The gift shops are "Hallmark" type stores that just sell generic gifts. I am not interested in importing greeting cards though as that market is too crowded. Any suggestions on what items you would like to see in stores or anything that is light weight, high value and great for gift shops will be appreciated.
