Martial Arts Muay (Martial Arts like Muay Thai or Taekwondo), is *Hard Body Training* a good thing or a bad thing?
Obviously your strikes are stronger, but is it bad for your bones or anything? I mean...do you lose flexibility?
Hard body training is incredibly bad for your body. If you don't want to live to be old and without pain or assisted living I would recommend you steer away from it.
There are proper ways to train for your body to be able to develop the strength it needs for you to defend yourself and reduce injury. These ways take years longer and much more dedication to accomplish the feat but are much healthier for you, as well as actually reinforcing your overall health.
Sure, when you're young it's cool to say "I can break boards and bricks and bats", but when you get older and suffer from arthritis, bone pain, and a weak immune system from poor blood health you will regret it.

Thank you for your comment. I don't believe UFC take over boxing, I think boxing did it to themselves. By not producing great fighters like Ali, Tyson, Louis and more. I as fighter and promoter and been involve in this Arts/Sports longer anybody you know (www.mastermehrdad.com) for a long time, personally appreciated boxer from older time because of their talent and skills. But you don't see that today. Now for mma they still missing a lot of things such as great talent, you have guys who never fought before are turning pro fighter off the street and every guy off the street wants to be a cage promoter or fight in it. You tell where the sports will go. But end of the day I wish everyone success. As for me I love traditional Martial Arts, Muay Thai and Shin Do Kumate' (www.shindokumate.com).
