Is UFC better or worse now that its mainstream?
I thought it was really awesome before when it was considered illegal and dirty, but now that its become just as accepted as boxing its still good but not as exciting, do you think its gotten better or worse, entertainment-wise?
for instance I thought one of the coolest things about ufc was seeing the competition of different styles, now it seems everyone comes from the same couple of trainers and schools, I would love to see some Jeet Kune Do practitioner go against a wrestler or something like that...
extra question: what is up with the lack of Jeet Kune Do in MMA, i know its not a REAL form but it would be really cool to see a bruce lee wannabe take on bj penn or some crap, is it not a practical fighting 'style' ?

oh yeah to answer your second part of the question. JKD simply is not very affective againts trained Muay Thai and boxing strikers , and there is not enough ground work in the martial arts if the fighter gets taken down he is done with , this has actually happened before check it out!

Which Style Should I pursue now?
I am currently in Varsity High School Wrestling and its my first year, and before wrestling I trained BJJ, but now with busy practice with High School Wrestling and its competitions, I rarely have time to attend BJJ classes. I really love BJJ and compete in tournaments. I would love to compete in amateur MMA fights just to test my self after training MMA for 3-4 years. Which would be better to pursue now?
Your wrestling and BJJ have laid the ground work. If you are comfortable or talented in those styles, all there is to do is add on. I would go with Muay Thai. It will build on what you already know and essentially give you more options. MMA gyms are popping up everywhere these days though. If you can't find one near you, you either live in the sticks or haven't tried hard enough to find one.
