Neoprene Workout Lifting
What size weights should I be using?
Since March I've been doing a mixture of cardio and some light weight lifting with diet changes to lose about 160 pounds. To this day, I have lost 70 pounds and have only been using 2 pound wrist weights and 3 pound neoprene dumbbells. I went from 320 pounds to 250, and now I am really wanting to up my workouts some to lose the remaining 90 pounds but I am not sure what size weights I should be doing now?? Would 5 or 6 be enough or should I shoot for 8-10? My husband has some solid metal 10 pound weights, but after about 12-13 my arms are shaking and I can't keep going!! They turn to jello!! lol...anyways, I need an honest opinion. Should I go ahead and buy a small upgrade, or get some soft neoprene 8 or 10 pound dumbbells??
for arm exercises, use 10 pounds.
