Pacquiao rejects bigger revenue split for Mayweather?
"Inside Sports learned that Team Pacquiao had apparently submitted three different offers to the Mayweather handlers but the talks were stalled when Mayweather demanded a much bigger share of the revenues. Reports had earlier indicated Mayweather wanted a 60-40 split in his favor which was apparently promptly rejected by Pacquiao."

I think Pacquaio did the right thing. Pacquiao is not an inferior superstar. He is known all over the world and he has many fans in the United States. Latino boxing fans have even adopted Pacquaio as their own because of his fighting style that is a remnant of the boxing swarming and brawling of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Roberto Duran. Pacquaio has been on more payperview events than Mayweather. I would, however, give Mayweather great credit because he has been involve in some of the biggest fights in history as far as ppv buys.
I have no doubt that 50-50 would be an even split. Both fighters deserve to split the purse in half. Mayweather is a great salesman of ppv, I have always admired the way he plays the villain role and he sooth that role in a more professional tone after his bouts. I think 50-50 is fair, and let's all hope Mayweather stop making any new concessions because the fans want this fight to happen and no fan today wants any changes in the negotiations if it means jeopardizing the biggest fight this century.
