Valero is better then Manny Pacquiao was at the similar stage of their career. Valero has power in both hands, has a jab he doesn't use much and already fights from angles. If Valero got a Freddie Roach or Naseem Richardson then he could develop his skills fairly quickly.
As of right now if you threw Valero in with Pacquiao it would be like throwing a house cat in with a tiger, its not going to be close and over quickly and brutally.
I like whats I saw, he fought on with a nasty gash in his forhead, did not seem to run out of steam and won every round against a tough Mexican. There is certainly room for improvment but I liked what I saw.
