Why does my hair straighten unevenly?
well...i have curly..frizzy..wild thick hair and i straighten it a lot for school. My hair is in layers and about medium length..i separate my hair in sections.my straightener has a heat setting and i use the lowest on the bottom sections and the highest heat on the top..ive noticed that the top is a lot more straighter than the bottom and i was wondering if i should use the highest on my whole head to get better results...im thinking of buying the Remington Professional Wide Hair Straightener..if any of you have it id like to know if its really good..also i need some good heat protectors...any help please "))
I'd say use the same heat setting for all of your hair. I use TRESemme heat tamer spray that comes in a black bottle and a red pump. I also use the Loreal Studio HotStraight heat activated straightening cream. It comes in a pink bottle with a grey lid. I find this gets my hair straight even before I straighten it. Just blowdry your hair with the cream already on your hair, you'll find it does wonders. You can find them both at Wal-Mart under $10. 
If you're looking for quality, I recommend the CHI heat protecter, it's about $20 a bottle but it's considered the best.

Really good. The writing is funny, the characters seem fairly interesting, i like the witty dialogue and I'm wholeheartedly confused!
First off, describe the "dark torrents". What are they? What do they look like?
I also thought it was a little lame Pam just gave up and didn't even try to fight the "dark torrent
things. If she is the only person who can help Tommy, why would she just admit defeat?
Otherwise, nice start, a lot better than most other stories on Answers.
