Im about to hang a heavy punching bag, need help with the holes. thanks?
i am about to hang a 65-70lb heavy punching bag on the ceiling. only problem is that the office of my apartments wont allow me, (just asked) lol. i will hang it anyway, i dont give a damn. but i need to know how to repair the holes. the ceiling doesnt look too sturdy also lol. if no ideas on that, then how can i build my own stand with little money?

The way to do the least amount of damage, would be to use 3 1/2 inch drywall screws to mount a plywood or 2x4 frame to the ceiling joists. Make sure your frame spans at least two or three joists to distribute the weight across a large area.
When you leave, remove the frame from the ceiling, and you will only have to repair the holes made in the ceiling by the screws.

Punching Bag FAIL
Is a punching bag a useful asset for someone who does taekwondo?
If not, could you please suggest some equipment that would be? I know nothing about the sport myself, just looking for a birthday present for my boyfriend 
Yes, it is. using a good size punching bag helps with both the punching and kicking.
it's just good practice to use some kind of punching bag to improve technique and stamina among other things.
if not a punching bag, I would check into a B.O.B or Body Opponent Bag due to it's realistic look of a person with it's added ability to be adjusted to several different height settings.
it adds more realism for striking as opposedd to a regular punching bag, but it is considerably harder since its made of molded rubber other than canvas or vinyl as most punching bags are made of but still good for a Martial Arts enthusiast.

They need a stress reliever after class and think that smoking is it? Try walking, listening to music or watching a comedy!! Welcome to real life! College prepares you for the real world ahead and he stress that comes with it.How deal with it now is how you will deal with it after college.If you get THAT stressed out after a class that you need to smoke, you need to reevaluate yourself or get to a gym and hit a punching bag!
