What is leatherette? Is it a good quality? Will it tear easily?
i want to buy a tote bag that's made out of leatherette and i was wondering is that a good idea? Is leatherette a good quality fabric???
when they say things like "leatherette" its just slang for pleather. they just dont want it to sound cheap. its definitely not as durable as real leather but if you dont rough the bag up too much it should last you a decent amount of time. Dont pay too much for it though, i wouldnt look at it as a long term investment.
