I have a medical question. Doctors or nurses will know, please help!?
This may sound weird but i have a sore throat and my uvula (mini red punching bag at the back of your throat) is swollen and is 3 times it's size! I'm serious. It's really uncomfortable Does anyone know how to help it. If you give me the best answer, 10 points coming your way!
Sounds like inflammation of some sort either caused by drainage from your sinus cavities or it could be irritation from something you ate, or even yet it could be an infection possible streptococcus. Best bet is to probably see a doctor to get on an antibiotic. But if you want to wait it out... try throat lozenges, drink plenty of fluids, eat soft cold foods (ice cream, popsicles, etc.) You can also get an antiseptic spray like Chloroseptic which will numb your throat to help with pain, also you can take ibuprofen or tylenol for pain as well. More than likely if its that swollen it sounds like you have drainage coming down your throat and you just dont know it. To help with that take an antihistimine like claritin or benadryl. Hope you feel better!

CAN THIS REALLY KILL ME!?
I've had midterms, so I have a lot of junk to keep me up. I know it's bad, but being a dumb teen I did it anyway. I'm only 110 1bs and 5 foot. I had 3 red bulls today (6 yesterday), 6 vitamin waters, 2 flinstones vitamins, 8 mini chocolate bars, 2 pieces of cake,4 hi-c fruit punch juices, 5 coca colas, and took some motrin after a chest pain. Now about an hour or so later, my chest hurts...but this is just heartburn, right? My right leg went numb, but that isn't a sign of heart attack is it? Could all this crap kill me? DON'T WORRY IK NOT TO DO IT AGAIN. I just wanna know if it's heartburn or worse? My veins hurt too, but is that just paranoia?
LOL! damn that is a lot to drink. The 3 red bulls alone would of stimulated your heart and nerves bigtime. I found a web forum about it. I'm not a doctor but when it involves your heart it can't be good. If you want energy try a multi-vitamin. I am taking supradyn energy by bayer which includes all the B vitamins that are essential for energy. It's a effervescent and absorbs far better than tablets.
