Sanshou Thai Boxing
If you could only train in one martial art, what would it be?
Now you don't have to pick a martial art that is extreme and the "most" effective in any situation, just one that fits your environment. For example, Where I live it is low to medium level violence (No guns, little bit of knives but mainly fist fights), So I would pick Sanshou (Chinese Kickboxing).
I love many martial arts, like BJJ, Boxing, Muay Thai, Sambo, Karate, Judo, Krav maga etc. But I like San shou the best of them all.
I've never need more then one style, since most karate styles are complete systems there is no need for another. But most you people don't stay with one style long enough to find that out
It takes decades to understand a style an a life time to master it
In any event to answer the question. I would go with the one with the better instructor.
I don't follow styles I follow instructors, that's what really matters in the end
