Contrary to another opinion, they are not strobes, they are Nikon SB800 flashes using Nikon's CLS (Creative Light System). They are relatively expensive and will not be of much use with your Canon. There are a great many options with regard to off camera flash use. Spend sometime reading through the strobist web site and then decide what you want.

This WW II musical is set in Australia and chronicles the exploits of a nightclub singer and the young Marine who loves her. She works in a Quonset hut turned into a saloon and helps stage shows for battle-weary troops returning from the South Seas. After one performance she holds a small party in her apartment and there meets the Marine sergeant who has just sailed in from Guadalcanal. Although she is married and awaiting the return of her husband, who is also at war, he decides to pursue her. Later she learns that her husband has been killed. Soon after, the Marine confesses that he can no longer handle the violence and has gone AWOL. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
A standard crime story with a dash of a disillusioned generation of men thrown in for good measure, The Rebel Set, also known as Beatsville, is about an armored car hold-up. Mr. Tucker (Edward Platt) is the man who comes up with the idea and plan of how to carry out the robbery, and he recruits three men who are down on their luck. John Mapes (Gregg Palmer), is an out-of-work actor, Ray Miller (John Lupton) is a writer who cannot get published, and George Leland (Don Sullivan) is the wastrel son of a has-been movie star. Tucker should have thought twice about who he was recruiting -- if these men have failed at life so far, why should they succeed in something as daring as a million-dollar robbery? ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi

This three-disc set of Bob Marley & the Wailers centers, like so many other Marley sets out there, on material the group recorded with Jamaican producer Lee “Scratch” Perry between August 1970 and April 1971, sessions that saw them grow and deepen into the act they needed to be, and regarded by many to be the real peak of Marley's creative arc. There are several classics here, including “Soul Rebel,” Peter Tosh's “Stop the Train,” Bunny Wailer's “Dreamland,” “Mr. Brown,” “Kaya,” “Sun Is Shining,” and “African Herbsman,” and the group’s re-imagining of Curtis Mayfield's “Long, Long Winter,” among others. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi

A gentler but no less resourceful Alan Ladd stars in The Proud Rebel. Ladd is cast as civil war veteran John Chandler, while the star's son David (who grew up to become a powerful Hollywood producer) plays Chandler's emotionally disturbed son David. Since suffering a traumatic shock during the war, David has not spoken a single word. With his son in tow, John wanders the frontier in search of a doctor who might cure David's muteness. Along the way, he runs afoul of sheep baron Harry Burleigh (Dean Jagger), and for a brief period is forced into indentured servitude to pay a debt to farm woman Linnet Moore (Olivia de Havilland). Falling in love with Linnet, John vows to protect her land from the covetous machinations of Burleigh and his brood. It is during the climactic set-to between good guys and bad that David at long last finds his voice again. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
